To begin accessing courses:
1. Login
2. After you login it will take you back to the home page
3. Select the course category from the left hand “Course
Categories” menu, OR click “All Courses” at the base of the
“Course Categories” menu.
NOTE: After you enroll in a course, the Course Categories
menu changes to a menu called “My Courses” To take
additional courses, click “All Courses” in the “My Courses”
menu.
4. Now you will see all the available courses in the
category
5. Click on the course you would like to take
6. It will ask you if you are sure you want to enroll.
Click “yes.”
7. You will be taken into the course. The course profile
sheet (syllabus) is in the first box. The texts are in the
next box. Additional learning tools and forums are in the
next box and the course exam is in the last box.
8. In the Additional Learning Tools box, you will see
“Adaptive Learning Activity” This is a quiz created using
all of the questions in the test bank for this exam.
Usually, the Course Exam uses only a sampling of the
questions. You do not have to do this activity. It has
been provided for people who like to learn through
quizzes.
9. When you are ready, click on the text to read it.
Although we have made every effort to provide the texts for
courses online, there are a couple that have hard copy
texts. For those we have provided a detailed outline
covering the basics of what you need to know.
10. When you are ready, click on the course exam. It will
open into an introductory screen. It will ask you if you are
ready to attempt the quiz now. Click yes. It will open
into a multiple choice/true false exam.
11. The exam is open book, so you can have the .pdf file of
the text open (or printed out) while you take the quiz.
12. When you finish taking the quiz, click “submit all and
finish.”
13. If you pass with at least an 80%, a certificate will pop
up. (If you have pop up blockers on you may not see it.) You
can return to the main course page. In the first block, it
says “certificate.” Click on that at any point AFTER you
pass the exam and you can print your certificate or save it
to your desktop. You can print as many copies of your
certificate as you like.
a. To return to the main course page in the upper left
corner, below the logo, you will see CEUs>>(Course
Name)>>etc… Click on the course name to go back to the
front page of the course. Click on CEUs to go back to the
front page of the site (the home page). For example, after
taking the ethics quiz and submitting it, I am at:
CEUs>>Ethics Brief>>Quizzes>>Course Exam>>Review
1. To return to the front page of the COURSE, I would click
on “Ethics Brief”
2. To return to the HOME page, I would click on CEUs
3. To return to the beginning of the COURSE EXAM, I would
click “Course Exam”
If you have problems, please click where is says click here
for support in the upper left corner. This will enable you
to send a support ticket. If you set the priority of the
ticket to “high” it will page one of our support staff
between the hours of 7am and 10pm seven days per week. |
